Trip of a lifetime

For years, Amiel has been creating and delivering tours led by Dr. Joseph B. Fuiten, Pastor of Cedar Park Church in Bothell, Washington, but none have been quite like his recent pilgrimage. Originally planned as a single-bus group, with only weeks before arrival, we got news to prepare for 200 pilgrims from across the US west coast!
Presented with a huge logistical challenge during the high-season of spring, we pulled all of our recourses and connections together to deliver a trip of a lifetime.

WE
CREATE

During 10 blissful days, the group led by DR. Joseph B. Fuiten walked in the footsteps of Jesus, traveling north from Caesarea Maritima to Mt. Carmel and then to the Galilee stopping in Megiddo and Magdala. Visiting Mt. Precipice, Nazareth, Mt. of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi, Tel Dan and the Dead Sea and then dedicated the second week to Jerusalem and its surroundings.

Although most pilgrimages visit the same sights, no pilgrimage is like the other. Each is uniquely created to fit the size, character and needs of the specific group, and is made special by the dynamic in the group and the people in it.

WE
DELIVER

Transitioning from 50 to 200 people, during one of the busiest travel seasons was not an easy task, but with decades of experience, familiarity with every nook and cranny in this country, and a strong network of contacts, we delivered as if it was always planned to be like this. Four buses were hired to take our pilgrims across the country, stopping to see the sites and breath in the experiences sometimes in separate groups, other times joining all together. We coordinated site visits to avoid large crowds, allowing our pilgrims enjoy a complete experience. We selected special locations for teaching and prayer, and carefully planned logistics to deliver a smooth and hassle-free experience.

Additional accommodations were selected to meet the standard of what was booked months in advance, so each and every one of our pilgrims could share a similar experience, regardless of when they booked. Coordinating between the hotels and the buses, and staying on schedule was given special attention and we are proud to say that with cooperation from the group, everything ran smoothly, and to everyone’s satisfaction.
It was a trip to remember, for the pilgrims, pastors, and for us at Amiel.
